The European Commission opened its public consultation on a new framework for technical measures in the reformed Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). The consultation’s target group is: Advisory Councils, fishermen associations, producer organisations, other fisheries stakeholders, national administrations and control bodies, environmental NGOs, experts/scientists working on fisheries related matters and consumers.
The consultation period runs from 24.01.2014 to 25.04.2014 with the objective to develop new technical measures in the context of the reformed CFP as a means to support the objectives of the reformed CFP.
