According to DG MARE staff the Commission is currently planning to develop a multi species plan for the Baltic Sea, including pelagic and demersal species.
Subsequently, the Baltic Sea pelagic management plan that has been under development during the year will not be tabled, nor will the revised plan for the management of Baltic cod. Instead the Commission is planning to table a multi species plan by the end of next year.
