Race for the Baltic makes it to Germany

After two weeks in Poland, the Race for the Baltic team made it to Germany. The team met up with Senator Holger Matthäus, BUND and the Black Fish where they together collected over 1,000 signatures. 

Race for the Baltic has now cycled through 7 countries surrounding the Baltic Sea.  On Day 64 of the campaign, the team made it safe to Rostock, Germany where they were met by Jörg Schmiedel, representing BUND Germany, The Black Fish, and Rostock Senator, Holger Matthäus .

The team was led by Senator Holger Matthäus for a city tour around Rostock; afterwards the senator was interviewed about Rostock’s relationship to the Baltic Sea. The next two days were spent collecting signatures with the help of BUND Germany and the Black Fish. For more information about Race for the Baltic click here.
