Love eel and singing? Take part in the EuroFishion Song Contest
To celebrate your love for fishes – especially our lovely, slimy European eel – and rivers, you can take part in the EuroFishion Song Contest, sending your contribution down the river of online data flow.
This global event offers you an opportunity to sing about your love for fish, alone – maybe in coronavirus lockdown? – or together with other fish lovers, and share it in support of the World Fish Migration Day! Normally it happens on the 16 May but it has been moved to the 24 October. So get singing – or, if that is not for you, you can vote on the other videos, starting on 16 May!
You just have to follow a few simple rules:
Rule 1: You can be from anywhere in the world and the song can be in your native language.
Rule 2: Upload a video of yourself, you and a friend, or a group singing a love ballad about fish and rivers.
Rule 3: Your video must be about or have a connection to rivers, fish and/or World Fish Migration Day.
Rule 4: Songs can be submitted until the 15th of October 2020.
Rule 5: From the 16th of May until October 20th the voting is opened! You can vote for your favourite song and share them with friends and family.
Rule 6: Winners will be announced on October 24th during World Fish Migration Day 2020.
