The challenges of fisheries management and how to address them successfully in the new CFP

WWF cordially invites you to attend a seminar organised under the patronage of the Polish Presidency of the EU and dedicated to  “The challenges of fisheries management and how to address them successfully in the new CFP”. The seminar will look into the past experiences, present challenges and future solutions of fisheries management, focusing on the Baltic region as a model of future fisheries management.  The panel will be devoted  to discussing the first proposal for reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). There will also be a lunch reception hosted by WWF, AIPCE, Eurocommerce, Euro Coop and Euro-Toques* - an alliance advocating for a real reform of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP). The seminar will take place on 27 July, 2011, in Gdynia, at the Sea Fisheries Institute, staring at 9:30 and ending at 4 pm. Attached you will find the invitation and the draft agenda for the event. Please send WWF a confirmation of your attendance no later than 10 July, 2011. Please indicate whether you need accommodation.

FP7 – European Summer Academy course
