Reform of the CAP
EU ministers will hold an exchange of views on the
reform of the common agricultural policy (CAP). The Council will seek to adopt a general approach on the three regulations foreseen under the new CAP:
- a regulation on the CAP strategic plans
- a regulation on the single common market organisation (CMO)
- a horizontal regulation on financing, managing and monitoring the CAP
