As part of the dialogue between the Commission and the Advisory Councils, representatives from all the ACs will meet with DG Mare to discuss the implementation of the CFP and the role of the ACs under the new regionalised CFP. The meeting will be chaired by the new director general of DG Mare, João Aguiar Machado. It will take place after the morning landing obligation seminar.

The European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) advisory board meeting is attended by AC representatives.

The European Commission (DG MARE) in collaboration with the European Association of Fisheries Economists (EAFE) and the University of Malta are hosting the Conference “Economic Advice in Fisheries Management: a Trilogue between Science, Administration and Stakeholders”.
